Money
Cash machines are probably the best way to get your money while in France.
Most UK cards will work as long as they have a 'Cirrus' marking. There is also a
Barclay's machine at the Carrefour hypermarket. You
will be charged a commission fee when using cash machines in France. Credit cards
are widely accepted, although it is advisable to carry some extra identification
as you may be asked for it. Sterling is accepted in the major Hypermarkets as well
as some tourist restaurants.

Electricity
220v/50Hz is the norm throughout France. Buy an adapter to fit the 2-prong sockets before you go.
