Driving Directions
From the centre of Calais:
Take Boulevard Jacquard until you get to the traffic lights at the Municipal
Theatre. Take a right onto the Boulevard Gambetta. Go straight over the
roundabout past the Shell Garage onto Avenue Roger Salengro, Auchan is on your
right.
From the Motorway/Autoroute: Take exit 14 from the A16 Autoroute
(Calais to Boulogne Link) and follow signs for Coquelles.
Bus: Number 5 (from Calais Station).
Facilities: Cafe, 24 hour petrol station, service
station, Barclays Cashpoint and newsagents.
Description
Auchan, (formerly Mammouth) is the original Calais Hypermarket, and is
much improved after a recent refit. With a great range on offer, the wide
aisles will tempt you with regular special offers. Like most French
Hypermarkets, there is also a range of specialist shops located at the
entrance to the centre.
Payment
Auchan takes English money (notes only!) but you will probably get a
better rate using a Bureaux de Change and paying in euros.
