Travel Essentials
Car Directions: Folkestone is on the South East coast in Kent, situated between Dover and Dungeness. Follow routes for Dover via M20 or A2 until signposts indicate turn offs for Folkestone. Once in Folkestone, the ferry port is well signposted.
Bus Directions: A direct coach service runs from London Victoria coach station as well as many other towns and cities around the country. From the main bus station in Folkestone town, it is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride into the port.
Rail Directions: There is a direct rail link from London Victoria and London Charing Cross stations. The main railway station in Folkestone is about 1 1/2 miles from the port. It’s a 10 minute taxi ride to the port from taxi rank just outside of the rail station). There is also a station at the harbour where occasional trains arrive from London Charing Cross.
Petrol Stations: An Esso garage is next to the port.

Places of Interest: The Metropole arts centre in "The Leas" has a variety of exhibitions on throughout the year. The Martello Tower No.3 tells the story of the fight against Napoleon, and the Rotunda Fun Park offers all the delights of traditional seaside amusements.
