How do I get a quote?
You can get a live quote, available for booking 24hrs a day, 7 days a week!
Use the Search box on the homepage, select your route, date and time of travel. We will then ask you how you are planning to travel. We will then be able to return to you the best available quote for your travel details. The quote price you see is the total price for travel.
We can quote for cars, motorhomes, minibuses, caravans and trailers, where available.

I can't find the ferry crossing I want on your site.
There are some operators that, for technical reasons, we can't yet book online. We hope to offer online booking for foot passengers and motorbikes in the near future. Let us know by email if there is an operator that you think is missing and we will do our best to advise you on how to book this operator.

How do I get the cheapest price for a crossing?
Generally the cheapest times for travel are weekdays, and outside school holidays.

Tickets
Ferrybooker.com is a ticketless booking service. This means that all you need to take with you to the port is your booking reference number. This can be found on your Email Confirmation or on the web page that confirms your booking has been made. We recommend that you print out your Email Confirmation or the online Confirmation page and take it with you to the port.

Day trip tickets
Day trip tickets can only be used for travel outbound and return within the same day (before midnight). They cannot be used instead of single tickets.

Check in times
For your reference please take a note of the check in time for your operator. In order to validate your booking it's essential that you check in at least within the time outlined below.

I'm not sure whether I have booked or not.
After you pressed the Book Now button Ferrybooker.com will take a few moments to confirm your booking with operator, then you should see a Confirmation of Booking page with your Booking Reference number on it. Shortly you will receive a confirmation email from us with your Booking Reference on it, your booking has been confirmed.
If you do not see a page with your booking reference on it or receive an email with confirmation of your booking, or if you receive an email which states your journey has not been booked, then no booking has been made for you. If you are still unsure please call us on 0870 442 2418 .

Can I book from outside the UK?
Yes you can book through Ferrybooker.com from any country, as long as you can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Delta or Switch.

Freight bookings
At present all freight bookings must be made directly through the relevant operator. Please contact the operator directly.

Onboard Accommodation
On some routes onboard accommodation is available. This can be booked through Ferrybooker.com. You will be asked (where available) if you require onboard accommodation before you get a quote. On some routes accommodation on overnight routes or fast craft routes is mandatory. Accommodation can range from a reclining seat to a club class cabin.
When you book a cabin with Ferrybooker.com you book the whole cabin. We cannot sell single berths within shared cabins.

Payment
Ferrybooker.com can accept payment for travel by Mastercard and Visa credit cards or Switch and Delta debit cards, Please note Mastercard and Visa credit cards will have a 2% transaction charge. There is no charge for Switch and Delta debit cards.

Where can I find timetables?
All of the operators' timetables can be found by searching on your chosen route. We always try to return the next 5 crossings from the dates and times you have given us.

Can I book travel for my pets using Ferrybooker.com?
At present we can't book travel for pets online. Please email us stating which route you are looking to travel on and we will send you the contact details for that operator.
