The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is the oldest continually operating ferry company in the world and links the Isle of Man with ports in England, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The company operates a mixture of conventional and high speed services for both passenger travel and freight and has a daily service to most of the ports it operates.
Ships owned by the company rescued nearly 25,000 troops stranded on French beaches during the Dunkirk evacuation in World War II. Ships owned by the company also featured in the film "Chariots of Fire".
